Let me show you how to Water Tribe

Welcome to my Avatar blog!
This is the place for me to reblog The Last Airbender or Legend ok Korra stuff I like, post my crazy theories about characters, and just generally rant about how much I love the show. I'll also start posting my own photosets soon, and gifs once I learn how to make them!
I'll tag all spoilers with "korra spoilers" and I'll tag posts with that until the following week's episode has been aired.
Enjoy perusing my blog!

Wow, sorry I haven’t posted in a while; I’ve been super busy with real life. Started back at uni yadda yadda.

Anyway, I’ll try to post more when I see it, there just hasn’t been a load of A:tLA or LoK on my dash lately. I guess I should follow more now.

Anyone got any good suggestions for A:tLA or LoK blogs? Or personal blogs that also reblog them?

I wonder how much the fandom actually knows about Polyamory

And the impacts it could have on shipping…

So to everyone obsessing over the fact that Amon’s “energybending” doesn’t make big flashy lights, and how when Aang took away Yukone’s bending there were no lights either:
I always figured that the lights we saw in Sozin’s Comet: Part 4 weren’t actually visible to other people. I’m pretty sure it’s just a spiritual battle of light, and that the only reason Bryke made it visible to us was to emphasize what was going on.
In conclusion: The bright lights we saw when Aang took Ozai’s bending away were just for us to emphasize what was happening, the fact that we don’t see lights when Amon takes away other people’s bending isn’t significant.

Is anyone else a little bit pissed off by the finale trailer?

I felt it gave a little bit too much away…

And if I’m right about something I think I spotted in it, I will be VERY annoyed if it turns out to be true and I found out in a trailer 2 weeks before the finale…

Could Tenzin have a Waterbender child?

So I was wondering (and this question isn’t about Tenzin having a Waterbending child, it’s just a good example):

If two benders have a child (say Fire and Earth) and their child was an Earthbender, could the Earthbender child then have a Firebender child? Excluding if they had a child with a Firebender. Basically, do you think the bending genes carry through generations?

Bolin: Man! I had this awful dream that Korra was taken by this evil bloodbender. So wierd.
Asami: Bolin, that really happened. He knocked us out.
Bolin:
Asami: It JUST happened.
Asami: Like 5 minutes ago...
Bolin:
Asami: Jesus, Bolin...

New theory!

If it’s true, I’m sorry for spoiling!

But what if Aang show’s Korra how to take Tarrlok’s bending away?

And then everyone starts accusing her of being like Amon.

Omg, headcanon?

Wow, my boyfriend just outlined the life of Avatar Yangchen

And wow.

boyfriend:

she was born in a time when all four nations were at war. She trained and then single handedly stopped the war. And no one declared war for a generation after she died, that’s how much influence she held

ehh, BAMF much?

So what do most people tag their Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra stuff with?

I’m presuming the go-to would be #atla and #lok

But I tend to use #korra more often than #lok

I do use #atla though, because who’s really going to write the full title?

makorraddiction:

Howl x Korra.

Ok, what? I just found out the fandom has created a ship between Korra and the “Hot Order of the White Lotus” guard (or Howl for short) that let her take Naga for a stroll at the start of the first episode…

This fandom will ship anything. Anything.

I do find this ship quite cute though.
